Come sing through vetted, new music that has spurred profound conversations and is making waves by its socially conscious relevance and inherent compositional quality. We will be joined by the SMC Chamber Choir and Concert Chorale who will perform several selections of socially conscious repertoire.

You will receive a packet of music and a list of resources for finding more new, socially conscious music on your own. In addition, you will be given an introduction to our NEW Empowering Silenced Voices Repertoire Database!  (Those attending the Western Division American Choral Directors Association Conference are especially welcome to add this to the beginning of your week. Enjoy the Santa Monica Pier and Beach afterward!)

Attendance is free, but pre-registration by March 6 is required to be guaranteed a packet of music.
