Thanks to all the composers who have submitted works to our New Call for Socially Conscious Music for ALL LEVELS of choral singing. We are seeking musicians to use their sight-reading skills, meet some other great musicians, and sing through some of these “hot-off-the-press” scores in our 5th New Music Reading Session!

If this describes you, we would like to invite you to attend our summer reading session, which will involve a sneak peek at selections vetted by our Advisory Committee. The purposes of this reading session are for you to be able to view a representation of some of this contemporary music, engage in a collaborative dialogue of the value of selected works for their compositional integrity and communicability; and find literature that you can program in your own ensemble. You will leave with parts of each of these pieces in a music packet, as well as contact information for these composers so that you can perform them in your own settings.

We look forward to seeing you at the Summer Reading Session. If you are not a singer, we hope you will consider supporting us in other ways. Let us know if you are interested in engaging in our vision and mission in non-singing ways. And we still hope to see you at the event!
