You are invited to this unique event combining a concert performance and reading session, at which we will feature music of social consciousness written by composers from the Pacific Northwest.

The Advisory Board selected some of the best submissions from our call for scores for this event. Some of these compositions will be performed by members from Chorosynthesis Singers, so you can hear them come to life in polished form. In addition, we will give you a music packet so that on some of the pieces, you can become part of the impromptu choir in a reading session type fashion.

At this event, you will receive a packet of this music, as well as composer contact information, to use as resources for your own programming of music that empowers silenced voices. Some of our composers will even be present, and we encourage you to dialogue with them about their works and their passion for creating works on themes of social consciousness.

We look forward to seeing you at Empowering Silenced Voices Northwest. Please let us know if you are interested in engaging in our vision and mission in singing or non-singing ways.
